Trusted Home Care, Inc. was founded in 2002 to provide our family and your family with quality and compassionate In-Home Care. We have strong roots in Mid-Missouri and view our community as friends and family. We have cared for many clients in the Central Missouri and we know how important it is to have dependable caregivers and good communications with our clients. Roger E. Ponder
President, Trusted Home Care, Inc.
Roger Ponder is president of Trusted Home Care and responsible for the company’s operations. Roger, a native of Iberia, Missouri, graduated from Lincoln University with a B.S. Business Administration and a M.B.A. Roger retired as Human Resources Director, Missouri Department of Conservation. Roger came out of retirement in 2002 and founded Trusted.
Roger has lived in Jefferson City for over 50 years. He was married to Susan Schulte Ponder who died of cancer in 2015. Susan served as a Teacher and then as Assistant Principle at St. Joseph Cathedral School for 43 years. Together they have four children; Craig Ponder and Beth Ponder Morris Jefferson City, Tim Ponder Iberia, and Jessie Ponder Abney Warrensburg. They also have 10 granddaughters and 1 grandson.
Valerie Moss Quail R.N.
Director of Nursing, Trusted Home Care, Inc.
Valerie Moss Quail R.N. is the Director of Nursing of Trusted Home Care and responsible for the clinical part of the company. She graduated from Iberia High School as Valedictorian. She is a graduate from Burge School of Nursing. She joined Trusted in 2003. She also works as a PRN for Capital Region Medical Center. Valerie has extensive experience in skilled patient, end of life, surgery and wound care.
Valerie has lived in Eldon since 1989. She is married to Jerry Quail who has worked at Wood's Supermarket for over 30 years. They have one son Kevin. When she is not working one of her two jobs she and Jerry are at the lake crappie fishing. A dedicated member of church, she devotes many hours working with youth groups.
Beth Ponder Morris
Vice-President of Administration, Trusted Home Care, Inc.
Beth Morris is Vice-President, Administration of Trusted Home Care and is in charge of the everyday non-clinical operations. She is a graduate of Helias High School and has a B.S. in Accounting from Central Missouri State University. Beth has worked at Trusted since 2005.
Beth was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri. She is married to Jeremy Morris who is a CPA/Partner with Williams Keepers, LLC. They are members of St. Joseph Cathedral Church. They have 3 children, Macy and Tyler, who attend St. Joseph Cathedral School and Ellie who is 2. Beth and Jeremy are very active in their church and other charitable organizations.
Craig R. Ponder
Director of Marketing, Trusted Home Care, Inc.
Craig R. Ponder is the Vice-President of Marketing of Trusted Home Care and responsible for advertising and social marketing. He is a graduate of Helias High School and Lincoln University with a B.S. in Art. Craig also operates Big Tavern Creek Apiaries providing pure local honey to the community.
He has been married to Ann Frank Ponder for over 20 years. She works for a Health Care Agency in the IT Department. They have four daughters; Ashton and Madison who currently attend Lincoln University, Cameron who attends Helias Catholic High School and Shannon who attends St. Joseph Cathedral School. Craig is an avid dart player competing in league and tournaments. He is the President of the Central Missouri Dart Association. Craig is an artist and an avid outdoorsman.
Roger says, “Susan asked that we continue the business to help others in need”. “In honor of Susan, we are continuing with confidence. Through our personal experience, we offer the best care possible”.
“My mom had a real desire to help her students and I credit that for my desire and inspiration to help others”, says Beth.
